Product Assurance Engineer / Test and Installation Engineer

Key responsibilities (Product Assurance Engineer):
- Point of contact for resolution production issues for sub-contractors
- Training of sub-contractor staff in competent testing and fault diagnostics
- Maintenance and updating of test specifications through the document management system
- Creating and maintaining test-bench apparatus to allow testing of individual components
- Reporting on non-conformance of components to help identify production issues
Key achievements (Product Assurance Engineer):
- Overseeing process of turn-key production where final test of assembled instrumentation was performed at sub-contractors rather than at Micromass factory
- Increasing throughput of shipped instrumentation
Key responsibilities (Test and Installation Engineer):
- Testing of instrumentation to specifications on factory floor
- Installation of instrumentation at customers’ sites worldwide (Europe and United States)
- Training end users in basics of instrumentation and software operation and also basic maintenance
